Here is some valuable information that you may, or may not, already know: a pili-pili is a small but extremely hot chilli pepper. It is also called piri-piri or peri-peri and is known as “z’ozio” in Creole. It is used in most spicy cuisine and... Stop! STOP! STOOOOP!!! This is not a culinary website... Let’s start again.
Pili Pili is a trick-taking card game in which you have to guess how many tricks you will win... and try to stick to that guess! Like in most trick-taking games, the card with the highest value wins the trick. Once all the cards in hand have been played, if you fail to match your number of tricks, you receive Pilis as a penalty, one for every trick you missed or excedeed your bet by.
And it gets trickier: each round, you have a mission. Its effect is applied to your hand making it more complex, more savage or just more fun. These missions force you to adapt your strategy and the number of tricks you think you will win. But be careful: accumulate too many pilis, and the game is lost.

Carnuta is played over a series of turns. On your turn, with the wisdom of the ancient oaks and the grace of the flowing streams, you must take 2 actions: take a card, play a card, take runes, or flip runes. You can take the same action twice or 2 different ones, as you see fit.

What exactly is "the Arena?"
The Arena is the competitive mode on BGA. If you master a game and want to play it competitively, this is THE mode to use, so you can challenge the best players and get the most experience points.
The Arena is organized in seasons of 3 months each. Achievements are awarded to the best players at the end of each season.
To play in the Arena: select "Play" and then choose "Arena" instead of "Simple game."

In the previous seasons the gurus chose the game formats for the Arena: player number, options used, ...
We are very happy to see that this way of doing things contributed to making the Arena more popular: thank you to all gurus for their smart suggestions and their votes!
Rules updates
No Arena rules are changing this season. It does not mean we are 100% satisfied with how the Arena is running, but you seem to appreciate the current rules, so we want to keep them as they are for now. Find out more here.

Some Explanation About: Relegations
At the end of each season, after winners have been awarded, you are relegated.
League relegation is determined by the number of Arena leagues available for each game:
- For games with 6 leagues: Elite players are demoted to Gold, Diamond players to Silver, and everyone else to Bronze.
- For games with 5 or 4 leagues: Elite players are demoted to Silver, and everyone else to Bronze.
- For games with 3 or 2 leagues: Everyone is demoted to Bronze.
Note that some games might not follow these relegation rules, as we might have decided to adjust the number of leagues in between seasons.
It's up to you to find the way to the elite!

Arena Seizoen 24: Nieuw Jaar, Nieuwe Kansen!

Wat is "de Arena" precies?
De Arena is de competitieve modus op BGA. Als je een spel beheerst en het competitief wilt spelen, is dit DE modus om te gebruiken zodat je de beste spelers kunt uitdagen en de meeste ervaringspunten kunt verdienen.
De Arena is opgedeeld in seizoenen van 3 maanden. Aan het einde van elk seizoen worden Trofeeën uitgereikt aan de beste spelers.
Om in de Arena te spelen: selecteer "Nu Spelen" en kies vervolgens "Arena" in plaats van "Eenvoudig spel".
Arena-indeling en Goeroes
In de voorgaande seizoenen hebben de goeroes de spelformaten voor de Arena gekozen: aantal spelers, gebruikte opties, ...
We zijn erg blij dat deze werkwijze heeft bijgedragen aan de populariteit van de Arena: dank aan alle goeroes voor hun slimme suggesties en hun stemmen!
Regelwijzigingen
Er worden dit seizoen geen Arena-regels gewijzigd. Dat betekent niet dat we 100% tevreden zijn met hoe de Arena functioneert, maar jullie lijken de huidige regels te waarderen, dus we willen ze voorlopig zo laten. Lees [hier] (https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=238586#p238586) meer.

Wat Uitleg Over: Degradaties
Aan het einde van elk seizoen, nadat de winnaars zijn gekroond, degradeer je.
De degradatie uit de competitie wordt bepaald door het aantal beschikbare Arena-competities voor elk spel:
- Voor spellen met 6 rangen: Elite-spelers degraderen naar Goud, Diamond-spelers naar Zilver en alle anderen naar Brons.
- Voor spellen met 5 of 4 rangen: Elite-spelers worden gedegradeerd naar Zilver en alle anderen naar Brons.
- Bij spellen met 3 of 2 rangen: iedereen wordt gedegradeerd naar Brons.
Houd er rekening mee dat sommige spellen mogelijk niet onder deze degradatieregels vallen, omdat we het aantal rangen tussen de seizoenen wellicht hebben aangepast.
Het is aan jou om de weg naar de elite te vinden!

All Hand on deck! Batten down the hatches and embark on a dicey adventure. Ye start with 5 Doubloons and 10 Lives. Savvy? In this fast-paced pirate dice game, ye will attack and steal from yer sworn enemies while defending yerself and looting the buried treasure! Argghhh!
Pirate mode off…
There are 6 Booty Dice. On your turn, you may roll up to 3 times. You may roll all or some of the dice each time. Once you are done rolling, you must resolve all the actions, in the order shown, on the Booty Dice.
To win, you must amass 25 gold doubloons or be the last remaining pirate. But beware! Mutiny and shipwrecks abound on the high seas. Will you walk the plank and feed the fish? Will you plunder another pirate and steal his doubloons? Only time will tell.

Booty Dice: Gooi voor Goud of Ga Eraan
Alle Hens aan dek! Zet de luiken vast en start een hachelijk avontuur. Je begint met 5 Dubloenen en 10 Levens. Snappie? In dit razendsnelle piratendobbelspel val je je gezworen vijanden aan en besteel je ze, terwijl je jezelf verdedigt en de begraven schat plundert! Arghhh!
Piratenmodus uit…
Er zijn 6 Buitdobbelstenen. Tijdens je beurt mag je maximaal 3 keer gooien. Je mag elke keer alle of sommige dobbelstenen gooien. Zodra je klaar bent met gooien, moet je alle acties uitvoeren in de volgorde die op de Buitdobbelstenen staat aangegeven.
Om te winnen moet je 25 gouden dubloenen verzamelen of de laatst overgebleven piraat zijn. Maar pas op! Muiterij en schipbreuken liggen op de loer op de hoge zeeën. Loop jij over de plank en voer je de vissen? Of plunder je een andere piraat en steel je zijn dubloenen? De tijd zal het leren.
