#39414: "Card played without being clicked"
Waarover gaat dit rapport?
Wat is er gebeurd? Selecteer uit het onderstaande
Regels: een spelregel werd niet gerespecteerd
Gedetailleerde beschrijving
• Met welk onderdeel van de regels is geen rekening gehouden bij de BGA-versie?
You should always click a card to be played, if you have a valid choice.• Is de inbreuk op de spelregels zichtbaar in de spelherhaling? Indien ja, bij welk zetnummer?
You cannot see, that there was no click.
But it happened 3 times in 3 different games, so it is not a player mistake.
In this game when "B ügynök" called blue 7, Alice82 had the choice of playing any card (she had no blue card), and the card with was communicated about (yellow 1) was played without being clicked.• Welke browser gebruik je?

The same thing happened here
Mueman had commed the blue 4 as his only card of that colour
He could not follow suit and the game engine auto played the communicated card
Ruined that round as we failed the task.

If it is possible to clear out any card selections before it comes to your turn, you can ensure someone doesn't accidentally play a card by having it pre-selected before their turn comes around.

Move #83
Similar to the last comment but in my situation I clicked the Communcation card during the previous trick and must have then clicked the Blue 8 card to communicate that it was my only Blue card. Decided to Cancel the communication when prompted to but when I hit the Cancel button, it played the Blue 8 card automatically.
A solution (if possible) is to implement some sort of confirmation request an undo before committing the card to the table and revealing it to the other players?
Thanks.

18 mei 2022 6:45 • This is exactly what players I've discussed the "communicator bug" with are referring to. It is possible to signal for communication, and then because you do so essentially simultaneously with the player whose lead it is selecting a card to play - and the UI does not stop to warn the would-be communicator of the change in game state - the would-be communicator's next click selects a card for play, instead of selecting the card for communication. In real-time games, this can be a serious problem.
A straightforward fix would be for the UI to lock out card selection for play as soon as communication is signaled, and not to enable card selection for play again until communication is either canceled or confirmed; that way, there would be no possibility of a click intended for communication to instead result in a card being played.
