In Living Forest, you play one of these four Spirits of Nature trying to save the Forest. You are not alone in this task, Guardian Animals have come together around the Circle of Spirits where you progress to help you. Each turn they bring precious elements, and if you manage to combine a good team of Guardian Animals, you can perform actions optimally. But beware, some of them are solitary and do not like to meet other fellows.
Each turn includes 3 phases:
Guardian Animals: All of the Spirits of Nature play at the same time. You draw and turn face up, one after the other, the Guardian Animal cards from your personal draw stack. You thus form the Animal Guardian Help Line. You can stop drawing cards whenever you want. However, if you reveal a card showing a third solitary symbol, then you must stop drawing cards. This card closes your Help Line.
Action: The Spirits of Nature play in turn. If your Help Line shows less than three solitary symbols (not canceled by gregarious symbols), you can then perform 2 different Actions. If your Help Line shows three solitary symbols (not canceled by gregarious symbols), you can then perform only 1 Action. The strength of an Action is determined by the number of corresponding Elements visible on the Guardian Animal cards on your Help Line and on your Forest individual board.
End of the turn:
Onibi attacks you: If some Fires remain in the center of the Circle of Spirits and you cannot resist them, then add the same number of Fire Varan cards to your discard stack as there are Fire tiles at the center of the Circle of Spirits.
Onibi attacks the Sacred Tree: Add as many Fires to the center of the Circle of Spirits as Guardian Animal cards were taken this turn.
The arrival of new Guardian Animals: Complete the Guardian Animal reserve by revealing as many new cards per level as there were cards taken this turn.

LIVING FOREST: speel Ghibli
Red het Bos en zijn heilige Boom van de verschrikkelijke vlammen van Onibi.
Maar hoe? Door bomen te planten, branden te blussen, heilige bloemen te verzamelen om Sanki wakker te maken ...
Vier Natuurgeesten- Winter, Lente, Zomer en Herfst - zijn opgeroepen om de Heilige Boom in het Bos te redden en de verwoestende vlammen van Onibi het hoofd te bieden ...
In Living Forest speel je één van deze vier Natuurgeesten die het Bos proberen te redden.
Je bent niet alleen in deze taak, Beschermdieren zijn samengekomen rond de Geestencirkel waar je vooruitgang boekt om je te helpen.
Elke beurt brengen ze kostbare elementen aan, en als het je lukt om een goed team Beschermdieren te combineren, kun je acties optimaal uitvoeren.
Maar pas op, sommigen van hen zijn solitair en houden er niet van om anderen te ontmoeten.
Elke beurt bestaat uit 3 fasen:
Beschermdieren: Alle Natuurgeesten spelen tegelijkertijd.
Je trekt en draait de ene na de andere Beschermdierkaart met de afbeelding naar boven uit je persoonlijke trekstapel.
Zo vorm je de Beschermdierenhulplijn.
Je kunt stoppen met het trekken van kaarten wanneer je wilt.
Als je echter een kaart onthult waarop een derde solitair symbool staat, moet je stoppen met het trekken van kaarten.
Deze kaart sluit je Hulplijn.
Actie: De Natuurgeesten spelen om de beurt.
Als je Hulplijn minder dan drie solitaire symbolen toont (niet onderbroken door kuddesymbolen), kun je 2 verschillende acties uitvoeren.
Als je hulplijn drie eenzame symbolen toont (niet onderbroken door kuddesymbolen), kun je slechts 1 actie uitvoeren.
De sterkte van een actie wordt bepaald door het aantal corresponderende elementen dat zichtbaar is op de Beschermdierkaarten op je hulplijn en op je individuele Forest-bord.
Einde van de beurt:
Onibi valt je aan: Als er enkele Vuren in het midden van de Geestencirkel blijven en je kunt ze niet weerstaan, voeg dan hetzelfde aantal Vuurvaraankaarten toe aan je aflegstapel als er Vuurtegels zijn in het midden van de Geestencirkel.
Onibi valt de Heilige Boom aan: voeg zoveel Vuren toe aan het midden van de Geestencirkel als er deze beurt kaarten met Beschermdieren zijn genomen.
De komst van nieuwe Beschermdieren: Voltooi de reserve van Beschermdieren door zoveel nieuwe kaarten per level te onthullen als er deze beurt zijn genomen.
