In 2013 the strategy game RUSSIAN RAILROADS conquered the hearts of "hardcore" gamers and railway enthusiasts alike. It's a game that challenges. Just playing without a strategy and betting on luck won't work here -* at least not for those who play for victory*!
In 2014 it won the German Game Prize (Deutscher Spiele Preis) and, increasingly, excited fans all over the world. The extensions GERMAN RAILROADS and COAL (2015) were released, followed by AMERICAN RAILROADS (2016), as well as some mini-expansions. Almost all copies were soon sold out. In order to answer players from around the world's calls for a new edition, everything was remade by Hans Im Glück! Okay, maybe not everything - the game is still the same. In addition to a few adjustments, the "jewel" of this long development is a new, really big expansion: ASIAN RAILROADS.
Since many adjustments were only possible with a revision of the entire layout, the opportunity to offer added value to long-time fans was taken as well. Everything is designed in a modular way, and for the first time you can freely combine all of the elements with one another. This strategic treat, as a result of being big and extensive, had to be renamed: ULTIMATE RAILROADS!
Let the boilers and your heads smoke, but be careful- this game is not for beginners!
For now the BGA adaptation is missing the German and American railroads... but they will pull into our station sooner or later. 😉

ULTIMATE RAILROAD: blijf op de rails
In 2013 veroverde het strategiespel RUSSIAN RAILROADS de harten van zowel "hardcore" gezelschapsspelspelers als spoorwegenthousiastelingen.
Het is een spel dat uitdaagt.
Gewoon spelen zonder strategie en hopen op geluk zal hier niet werken - althans niet voor degenen die voor de overwinning spelen!
In 2014 won het de Duitse Game Prize ( Deutscher Spiele Preis ) en het kreeg steeds meer fans over de hele wereld.
De uitbreidingen GERMAN RAILROADS en COAL (2015) werden uitgebracht, gevolgd door AMERICAN RAILROADS (2016), evenals enkele mini-uitbreidingen.
Vrijwel alle exemplaren waren al snel uitverkocht.
Om een antwoord te bieden op de vraag naar een nieuwe editie van spelers van over de hele wereld, werd alles opnieuw gemaakt door Hans Im Glück!
Oké, misschien niet alles - het spel is nog steeds hetzelfde.
Naast enkele aanpassingen is het "juweel" van deze lange ontwikkeling een nieuwe, echt grote uitbreiding: ASIAN RAILROADS.
Omdat veel aanpassingen alleen mogelijk waren met een herziening van de gehele lay-out, werd ook de mogelijkheid aangegrepen om meerwaarde te bieden aan de trouwe fans.
Alles is modulair ontworpen en voor het eerst kun je alle elementen vrij met elkaar combineren.
Deze strategische traktatie moest vanwege zijn omvang hernoemd worden: ULTIMATE RAILROADS!
Laat de ketels en je hoofden roken, maar wees voorzichtig - dit spel is niet voor beginners!
Vooralsnog ontbreekt 'German and American Railroads' bij de BGA-aanpassing ...
maar vroeg of laat zullen ze ons station binnenrijden.

Een pluim voor Victoria_La voor de hele spelontwikkeling; het spel is prachtig overgezet naar BGA en werkt perfect op de meeste apparaten.
Natuurlijk was niets mogelijk geweest zonder de toestemming van de geweldige Hans Im Glück en de spelontwerpers,
Helmut Ohley en Leonhard "Lonny" Orgler.
We willen ze allemaal bedanken voor het kiezen van Board Game Arena om dit prachtige spel over te zetten.
