What exactly is "the Arena?”
The Arena is the competitive mode on BGA. If you master a game and want to play it competitively, this is THE mode to use, so you can challenge the best players and get the most experience points.
The Arena is organized in seasons of 3 months each. Achievements are awarded to the best players at the end of each season.
To play in the Arena: select "Play" and then choose "Arena" instead of "Simple game."

Rules updates
No Arena rules are changing this season. It does not mean we are 100% satisfied with how the Arena is running, but you seem to appreciate the current rules, so we want to keep them as they are for now. Find out more here.
Season 27 is NOW Launched
The new Arena is now open for its new season. And there is more:
You can get your ticket to the Ark Nova World Championship by taking part in Season 27. The best players from the Eastern and the the Western regions will be will be presented with a flight ticket to Berlin as well as free hotel accommodation during the main event in summer 2027. Some Explanation About: Relegations
At the end of each season, after winners have been awarded, you are relegated.
League relegation is determined by the number of Arena leagues available for each game:
- For games with 6 leagues: Elite players are demoted to Gold, Diamond players to Silver, and everyone else to Bronze.
- For games with 5 or 4 leagues: Elite players are demoted to Silver, and everyone else to Bronze.
- For games with 3 or 2 leagues: Everyone is demoted to Bronze.
Note that some games might not follow these relegation rules, as we might have decided to adjust the number of leagues in between seasons.

Wat is is "de Arena" precies?
De Arena is de competitieve modus op BGA. Als je een spel beheerst en het competitief wilt spelen, is dit dé modus om te gebruiken. Zo kun je de beste spelers uitdagen en de meeste ervaringspunten verdienen.
De Arena is opgedeeld in seizoenen van 3 maanden. Aan het einde van elk seizoen worden prijzen uitgereikt aan de beste spelers.
Om in de Arena te spelen: selecteer "Nu Spelen" en kies vervolgens "Arena" in plaats van "Eenvoudig spel".

We zijn erg blij dat deze werkwijze heeft bijgedragen aan de populariteit van de Arena: dank aan alle experts voor hun slimme suggesties en hun stemmen!
Bijgewerkte regels
Er worden dit seizoen geen Arena-regels gewijzigd. Dat betekent niet dat we 100% tevreden zijn met hoe de Arena functioneert, maar jullie lijken de huidige regels te waarderen, dus we willen ze voorlopig zo laten. Lees hier meer hier.
Seizoen 27 is NU Gestart
De nieuwe Arena is nu geopend voor het nieuwe seizoen. En er is meer:
Je kunt je ticket voor het Ark Nova Wereldkampioenschap bemachtigen door deel te nemen aan seizoen 27. De beste spelers uit de oostelijke en westelijke regio's ontvangen een vliegticket naar Berlijn en gratis hotelaccommodatie tijdens het hoofdevenement in de zomer van 2027. Wat Uitleg Over: Degradaties
Aan het einde van elk seizoen, nadat de winnaars zijn gekroond, degradeer je.
De degradatie uit de competitie wordt bepaald door het aantal beschikbare Arena-competities voor elk spel:
- Voor spellen met 6 competities: Elite-spelers degraderen naar Goud, Diamond-spelers naar Zilver en alle anderen naar Brons.
- Voor spellen met 5 of 4 competities: Elite-spelers worden gedegradeerd naar Zilver en alle anderen naar Brons.
- Bij wedstrijden met 3 of 2 competities: iedereen wordt gedegradeerd naar Brons.
Houd er rekening mee dat sommige wedstrijden mogelijk niet onder deze degradatieregels vallen, omdat we het aantal competities tussen de seizoenen wellicht hebben aangepast.
