Dozito is a fast and colorful card game where you compete to build the most efficient 4x3 grid by placing cards numbered 1 to 12 in their designated spots.
Played over three rounds, the game features a dynamic system of drawing, discarding, and replacing cards. On your turn, you flip and replace cards from the deck or the discard pile to form color groups to earn points and collect Dozitos (suns) for bonus scoring.
You can choose to add a drawn card to your grid or discard it immediately, which ends your turn. When a card is placed, it replaces the existing card in its slot: if the original card was face-up, it is discarded; if it was face-down, it is flipped over and you can continue to play with that new card. These face-down cards can be “chained”, allowing several successive replacements in a single turn.
At times, you’ll flip special cards like Jokers, which can represent any number and be placed anywhere on the grid, as well as Extra Turn and Stop cards that add an extra layer of strategy to every round.
A round ends as soon as one player has flipped all the cards in their grid face-up. After three rounds, the player with the highest score wins.
Dozito is all about those satisfying chain reactions, tactical swaps, and a touch of luck to keep things exciting and unpredictable every time you play!

Dozito: De zonnen schijnen op jou
Dozito is een snel en kleurrijk kaartspel waarin je strijdt om het meest efficiënte 4x3 raster te bouwen door kaarten met de nummers 1 tot en met 12 op de daarvoor bestemde plaatsen te leggen.
Het spel wordt over drie ronden gespeeld en kenmerkt zich door een dynamisch systeem van kaarten trekken, afleggen en vervangen. Tijdens je beurt draai je kaarten om en vervang je ze vanuit de stapel of de aflegstapel om kleurgroepen te vormen waarmee je punten verdient en Dozitos (zonnen) verzamelt voor bonuspunten.
Je kunt ervoor kiezen om een getrokken kaart aan je speelveld toe te voegen of deze direct af te leggen, waarmee je beurt eindigt. Wanneer een kaart wordt geplaatst, vervangt deze de bestaande kaart in het vakje: als de originele kaart open lag, wordt deze afgelegd; als deze gesloten lag, wordt deze omgedraaid en kun je verder spelen met de nieuwe kaart. Deze gesloten kaarten kunnen aan elkaar worden gekoppeld, waardoor meerdere vervangingen achter elkaar in één beurt mogelijk zijn.
Soms draai je speciale kaarten om, zoals Jokers, die elk willekeurig getal kunnen voorstellen en overal op het speelveld geplaatst kunnen worden, en Extra Beurt en Stop-kaarten die een extra strategische laag aan elke ronde toevoegen.
Een ronde eindigt zodra een speler alle kaarten in zijn of haar speelveld open heeft gelegd. Na drie ronden wint de speler met de hoogste score.
Bij Dozito draait alles om die bevredigende kettingreacties, tactische wissels en een vleugje geluk, waardoor elke speelsessie spannend en onvoorspelbaar blijft!
