Pili Pili is a trick-taking card game in which you have to guess how many tricks you will win... and try to stick to that guess! Like in most trick-taking games, the card with the highest value wins the trick. Once all the cards in hand have been played, if you fail to match your number of tricks, you receive Pilis as a penalty, one for every trick you missed or excedeed your bet by.
And it gets trickier: each round, you have a mission. Its effect is applied to your hand making it more complex, more savage or just more fun. These missions force you to adapt your strategy and the number of tricks you think you will win. But be careful: accumulate too many pilis, and the game is lost.

Hier is wat waardevolle informatie die je al dan niet weet: een pili-pili is een kleine maar extreem hete chilipeper. Hij wordt ook wel piri-piri of peri-peri genoemd en staat in het Creools bekend als "z'ozio". Hij wordt gebruikt in de meeste pittige gerechten en... Stop! STOP! STOOOOP !!! Dit is geen culinaire website... Even opnieuw beginnen.
Pili Pili is een slagenspel waarbij je moet raden hoeveel slagen je zult winnen... en proberen je aan die gok te houden! Net als bij de meeste slagenspellen wint de kaart met de hoogste waarde de slag. Als alle kaarten in je hand zijn gespeeld en je hebt niet het verwachte aantal slagen gehaald, krijg je straf-Pili's, één voor elke slag die je hebt gemist of waarmee je je inzet hebt overschreden.
En het wordt steeds lastiger: elke ronde krijg je een missie. Het effect daarvan wordt toegepast op je hand, waardoor deze complexer, meedogenlozer of gewoon leuker wordt. Deze missies dwingen je om je strategie en het aantal slagen dat je denkt te winnen aan te passen. Maar pas op: verzamel je te veel pilis, dan verlies je het spel.
