In The Last Droids, you are an Ecomechanic, a sort of robot repairman in a New World, a world of depleted natural resources. Your goal: to help humanity survive by repairing, recycling or constructing pieces of robots from the Old World. You have to select the best droid wrecks, manage your resources and build the most efficient collection!
Every turn, you draw 2 droids cards and then choose which droid to give to your opponent, and which to keep. Then, you choose to recycle or repair your Droid, or to sacrifice it to build a House. There are 7 types of droids cards, each with unique abilities: water management, harvest, communication, collection, market, shed or house.
The game is made of seasons of 8 turns and it finishes after 3 seasons. At the end of the third season, or when all the House Droids have been built, the Ecomechanic with the most Recycling Points is granted the Medal of the Order of the Leaf, the ultimate distinction.

The Last Droids: dit zijn de droids waar je naar op zoek bent
In The Last Droids ben je een ecomecanicien, een soort robotreparateur in een Nieuwe Wereld, een wereld met uitgeputte natuurlijke hulpbronnen. Je doel: de mensheid helpen overleven door robots uit de Oude Wereld te repareren, te recyclen of opnieuw te bouwen. Je moet de beste wrakken van droids selecteren, je hulpbronnen beheren en de meest efficiënte verzameling opbouwen!
Elke beurt trek je 2 droidkaarten en kies je welke droid je aan je tegenstander geeft en welke je houdt. Vervolgens kies je ervoor om je droid te recyclen of te repareren, of om hem op te offeren om een huis te bouwen. Er zijn 7 soorten droidkaarten, elk met unieke vaardigheden: waterbeheer, oogsten, communicatie, verzamelen, markt, loods of huis.
Het spel bestaat uit seizoenen van 8 beurten en eindigt na 3 seizoenen. Aan het einde van het derde seizoen, of wanneer alle Huis-Droids gebouwd zijn, ontvangt de Ecomechanicien met de meeste Recyclingpunten de Medal of the Order of the Leaf, de ultieme onderscheiding.
