One commonly used strategy amongst the fast players who tend to win is try to keep your tower with low numbers. one example of this is placing your lowest numbers at the left end side of the board and your bigger numbers to the right. this allows the top number to be as low or lower then 10. keeping the numbers low is allowing for your pieces to not cost two dice per tile that would make your journey a lot longer (twice as long).
