F5 has risolved the problem at the moment, but I always ran out of time avaible
the problem occurs in all other game tables

On 26 October 2014, was playing this game with one other player, Llynx. I kept receiving the "Unable to connect to the server. Are you connected?" message. I refreshed the page multiple times (>10x) and was finally able to get back to the game. By then, Llynx was also disconnected and I was forced (15 minutes later) to expel him as this was the only way to finish the game. The game is Can't Stop #10782931.

This is the third time-out penalty on my account due to being "disconnected" by the website server. Llynx is a new player and this is his first such penalty. Is there any way that these penalties, and Llynx's expulsion count be removed to preserve his reputation?

msg said "Unexpected error: This game has ended. Please return to the main site.",

but i still had the "Stop" or "Continue" buttons available

This site can’t be reached
en.8.boardgamearena.com refused to connect.
Try:
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

Same issue in Chrome and Safari browsers. I was able to finally view the table by deleting the first "8", but I couldn't make my turn.

More recently, 9 people have reported / commented on this common issue, with no developer response yet.

There are several reports of en.8 refusing connection (this is a server side error message, typically caused by capacity issues, but not always)

I keep having this bug; and the penalties are accumulating on my account.

My connection is ine though, all other websites work. It usually works again after a few minutes, but other players usually have expelled me by that time.

I got Karma but others 3 players are in a same way delays withouth reason for that!

I have the same problem : not connected to the server... It occurs on firefox version 86.0 (64 bits), windows 10. So I can't join games or I can't play if I am already in a game and I lost time, and sometimes the other players expel me because I can't join the server and I can't play.
At the same time, the problem does not occured on another computer (firefox version 78.8.0esr, linux debian testing) on the same wifi.

Ich konnte trotz anklicken der Züge keinen Fortschritt erzielen. Habe die Seite aufgefrischt, doch es sind nur rote Zeilen gekommen. Danach wurde ich abgemeldet.

Appeared this morning for me when using Chrome on my PC. Works fine to access on my iPhone. Unfortunately not all games are playable on the iPhone due to graphic display size and tooltips.

For my games ...

I refreshed, restarted, etc. Seems like I am connected, but BGA is saying otherwise. This did not happen in every game ... now down to 50% :( Peer said I was then back connected, but three warning bars came up and couldn't play. Happened at beginning of game.

Getting too scared to play!

This has happened multiple times for me. I can see the game, but it is not the same view as if I were playing it. It looks like I'm a spectator viewing the game rather than a player (there is also an indication that there is one person viewing the game). If I go to e.g. the home page instead, other players say that to them it looks like I just connected. If I go back to the table, it looks to them like I disconnected.

In last two days it happens to me anytime I try to start a game. I tried Tock and Can't stop. F5 doesn't work.

Thanks for your reports, this issue affected randomly a few number of players so was difficult to diagnose, but it has now been fixed.

my laptop is brand new, all browsers updated, ad blockers off, vpn off, firewall disabled, no antivirus,
the pages buttons don't work, the loading sign never ends turning.
i can only acces to games list, but the games never starts.

for me it's not fixed. unless someone can explain how to fix that.
