An option to play without the expansion rooms would be very good, so we can play with base game rooms only. I see an option was added to play without the expansion goals/cards, but there is no way to play without the expansion rooms currently that I see.
With the base game, there are exactly 2 (large rooms) or 3 (small rooms) of each type of room in a certain pile, so for example you know if 2 yellow 300 rooms have come out, there is 1 left in the pile still. With all the expansion rooms mixed in, it is completely unknown how many of of each type of rooms are in each pile.
