The rulebook says the following on page 17, regarding Visitors #1-6:
Each round if you Drink 1 or more potions in phase 3 gain the reward listed to the right of the →. [...]
These are "instant" abilities, so the player should gain the reward(s) as soon as they drink the first potion. But right now, the BGA implementation waits until the player finishes drinking ALL potions, then gives all rewards simultaneously at the end of the round.
The difference really only matters for Visitor #3, who lets the player move their ability disk 1 space on the study track after drinking a potion. That reward could cause the player to move to a new potion level (from Apprentice to Intermediate, or from Intermediate to Expert), which could make future potions that the player drinks in that same round more effective. Right now, the game implementation doesn't allow that.
This is confirmed by the game designer, and he said he'll reach out to see if the BGA implementation can be adjusted.
