I just finished a game where my Conservation was 18 and my Appeal was 70 - thus putting both markers in the same "Scoring Zone". But as I put my feet up and ended the game the BGA summary showed:
"GAME RESULT : END OF GAME (DEFEAT)" -

I seem to be racking up losses that should be wins ;)
Same issue, I got 100 point, after end game processing, my point goes to zero but showing defeat.
From the rule, when I got >=0 point, should count as victory
